PLUS Prague has probably been the best hostel we've stayed in so far. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel all seemed very clean! There is a bar and restaurant, and it is close to a tram line which takes you straight into the city (reception sells the tickets and explains how to get where you want to go). We were in a 4 bed dorm, travelling with busabout, and all 4 people were from busabout too which was good (not sure if that's on purpose or not). The rooms are also the nicest looking rooms so far! Modern and actually decorated with large lockers available and a clean shower and seperate toilet. You do have to pay for breakfast but it's actually got cooked food as well as what you usually get elsewhere!

The only things I can say could be improved: price of the bar/ resturant. Not super expensive but definitly cheaper to go elsewhere. Also my partner and i had single beds and they were so loud! We were there three nights and the last two nights i actually put my mattress on the floor because i kept waking myself up even with earplugs. But the mattress was comfy. Also could do with some ceiling fans or something as it was quite hot in the room even though it was facing out the front. Also each night there was a group of VERY loud people outside around 9 - 9:30. If its like a tour maybe the meeting area should be a little up the road for people trying to have an early night.
Overall I'm looking forward to my stays in other PLUS hotels around europe, definitly better than some other chains :)

The atmosphere was perfect! Beach volleyball, swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, pool tables and cheap alcohol! Staff were really great. A little far from town, however public transport very easy to use. The hostel was clean and set out really well. Best hostel I've stayed in so far!

This hostel is good value for money. The rooms are large with good facilities (e.g. Ensuites, hair dryers and towels) which you don't always get in shared hostel rooms. With a separate girls corridor.
Vanessa on reception was very helpful and friendly, even walking with us into town to show us where to go.
However 2 of the other receptionists were rude. When asked simple questions like what is the wifi code, acted like we'd asked something crazy.
One in particular made us feel like an inconvenience and you don't expect this kind of attitude in a hostel, as they are usually friendly and inclusive places.
Whilst there is a pool in the hostel, there is no kitchen, and in my opinion a pool is not needed in a hostel but a kitchen is.
You can change money at the hostel but just a word of caution the exchange rate for pounds to crowns is better in town.
Overall I would say to stay here but be wary of the fact some of the staff are quite abrupt.

Such a good hostel. It's such a bargain for what you get. Me and 5 friends stayed here over the August bank holiday in a 6 person dorm with an ensuite and didn't have any problems at all. A bit far from the town centre but transport links are sooo easy. The pool and sauna is absolutely bliss and perfect for the morning after a heavy night. The reception was constantly manned and we had no problems coming back to the hostel at 6am.

Loved the pool, sauna, restaraunt and bar! The dorm was clean and tidy, staff were super nice and helpful, atmosphere was good and chill out area looked cool too. The location is fine, not in the city itself but only 10 mins by tram, which is very close. Very good value for money too! Would stay again

overall great hostel! Although you don't get towels and there is no air conditioning, and it was pretty dam hot. The bar has no atmosphere - we were down there for happy with about 3 others around us. Lots of contiki buses come in and out every day so would be a very hard place to meet anyone! It's quite far out of town, but easy enough to get around on the trams! Also the pic of the pool makes it look a lot better then it actually is

Firstly, the staff here are super helpful, accommodating and good fun. You can exchange currency and buy train/tram tickets in the hostel too! Our room was basic but big and the location is within easy walking distance from a big supermarket and the tram line which gives you easy, 24 hour access to Prague. The restaurant and bar were pretty reasonably priced; try the pizza and one of the many cocktails! The pool and sauna are definitely worth a trip too! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I really like the rooms they are very spacious and not over cramped. Beds were really comfortable Nd the price was really good... They have vending mChines with all sort stuff in case you cant go out. And i most definately love the late ck out for 5€. Although i had a 16 hour bus At 11pm and After wandering the street all dAy and being all sweaty there is no common showers for you to use which is really annoying.

Which is the coolest hostel in Prague? It’s PLUS HOSTELS OBVIOUSLY!

Okay, so I stayed here for only one night but I would love to come back & stay here for a longer stay. There are a lot of good things about this uber cool hostel.

Reception is warm, friendly & helpful. There’s a huge room where there are lots of food vending machines (and they’re affordable).

There’s a snooker table, Sauna, Swimming Pool, laundry & so many facilities which a normal hostel will not offer. Plus Hostels can be reached from Airport & Train station easily.

Budget & location wise, Plus Hostels Prague is the perfect choice.

Liked: Everything - beginning with the location to the safety and cleanliness - everything was perfect. I found the staff extremely friendly and informative - and I was traveling alone, this made a lot of difference. The breakfast was sumptuous. the rooms were clean. What I loved most was the thoughtfulness of leaving a little kit on the bed with soap and shampoo - it did feel very personal and welcoming!

Disliked: Nothing! Maybe one little thing - which was not being able to change the local currency back to Euro! That's about it. But this could just be a convenience issue for me - coz, no where in all of Prague was able to change the local currency back! The second thing was that the party goes on till late and if one is staying on the lower lever, it tends to get very noisy at night. I was there during summer and had to leave the window slightly open and the noise was rather loud!
